Crown/Stopper Systeme

       The symphonic flute headjoint is equipped with a cap-crown system made 100% by hand in brass and lacquered in silver, specially shaped to give more sound power, projection and focus of the sound to easily obtain superior projection in the orchestra as well as in large halls.
 
       It is possible to change the symphonic stopper-crown system to an antique system. This gives, in a way, two heads, two different sounds. The symphonic cap-crown assembly produces a very powerful sound perfect for playing in orchestras and in situations where the flautist must project through other musicians. The antique crown cap set produces a very woody and warm sound perfect for chamber music or baroque music.
