Our oval Embouchure is manufactured respecting the different undercutting angles who facilitates the sound projection and tonguing, while allowing the production of the wide range of timbres typical of the ancient flute.

Lavoie Boxwood headjoints are made from the best quality wood blank that have been dried for more than 5 years. The rings and tenon are made of faux ivory.

All semi-baroque headjoints come with a crown and a lightweight stopper, which ensure a very muffled sound typical of wooden flutes, ideal for a more discreet repertoire of music.
